Bethel Woods Permforming Arts Center

On this job we did much of the finish exterior woodwork at the Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center in Bethel, New York. The work included the installation of the vertical-board cedar siding on all 14 buildings with soffits, faces and trim around all the windows. As you can see in some of the pictures, the trim was extensive on some of the buildings such as the eight-sided main Interpretive building. We also installed the decks and rails on this prestigious commercial property.

The Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center is a 16,800-seat outdoor performing arts venue at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival in Bethel, NY, located on 2,000 hilly acres about 90 minutes from New York City.

Our work here also included the interior wood trim on the concessions and restroom buildings and the big Pavilion building. The Pavilion building contains a section with dressing rooms and backstage facilities for the performers. In this section we installed an ornate cherry staircase with cherry trim throughout.
